HP Envy 750-514
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

FYI - I only had 12gb of RAM and noticed people were doubting it would take 32gb.  Some even asserted that 16gb is the Maximum.  When I tried to put in some i bought at Best buy my computer just beeped but when I bought the recommended 32gb (2x16) from crucial VOILA!  It recognized it and I'm swimming in RAM now!  It's glorious. Get it on Amazon a little cheaper.  This one. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q3HNXCC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

From its specs

            https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05379721

It supports

  • Dual channel (one DIMM per channel) memory architecture
  • Two DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets
  • Supports PC4-17000 (DDR4-2133)
  • Supports 4 GB and 8 GB UDIMMs
  • Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems
    note:
32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory.
  • Supports up to 16 GB (unbuffered) on 64-bit computers
    note:
Maximum memory shown reflects the capability of the hardware and can be limited further in the operating system.

But I believe you can upgrade to 32GB and that's right, it works on compatible RAM. Crucial is a good source. Most of the time I use Crucial products, it stands behind its products.

Regards.
