Hp Envy x360 13-ay009au

Hi,

I have a HP Envy x360 that has a broken Hinge which caused damage to the touch screen. I now cant use the laptop at all because I cant see what is happening on the screen. I bought this laptop only 4 months ago and when opening the laptop the other day the right screen hinge cracked open to cause the damage.

I went onto HP support on WhatsApp to send photos and describe the Issue. The service Rep said he was going to check with the Production Validation team 4 days ago and get back to me but no one has got back to me. I have been messaging on Whatsapp but Im being ignored. Im not able to do any work and this is causing a big hassle not knowing what is going on. I can see other people have had the same issue with this hinge breaking.

Does anyone another way to contact Support? Im under warranty and this is terrible customer service by HP. Im ready to put an official complaint to the NSW Fair Trading here in Australia.

regards

AG

Hi@Manya70,

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Apologies for all the inconvenience

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. This sounds like hardware related issue with the hinge assembly and in order to fix this issue,  your computer needs to be serviced.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/
