Product: HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 13m-bd0000 (172M9AV)

Hello and thank you in advance for any assistance. 

 

Problem. After a Windows update, this camera icon popped up and won't go away. Internal webcam does not work.

  • Determined it's signifying webcam issues. Therefore I uninstalled update and re-installed. Reboot. No fix
  • Updated bios and all other possible drivers I could find. Reboot. No Fix. 
  • Camera was hidden in device manager, camera icon properties showed error and not connected. Clicked update driver, no update available. 
  • Scanned for hardware changes, nothing shown.
  • Read many troubleshoot pages and videos, haven't found anything that works
  • Finally, clicked and uninstalled the internal camera. Rebooted. Camera icon remains, now no device found in device manager and still stuck.
