HP ENVY x360 - 15-bp143cl

My HP Envy 360 hinge broke out of nowhere (again). I had it repaired about two years ago and the exact same thing happened. The hinge broke, a screw fell out, and the hinge is pushing up the display. I can’t even open it or it will crack the display.

This seems like a known issue (hundreds others having the same problem) and it seems criminal for HP to make consumers pay to repair what is clearly a defective product.

I would like some immediate guidance please.

Thanks. This reply is remarkably unhelpful since you directed me to a link that doesn’t allow me to contact anyone if my machine is out of warranty. I already went to that page and they said my only option was to post on this discussion board. Now you are directing me right back to that page. This is absurd and so unhelpful. And as I mentioned before - criminal.
