My laptop has never dropped, but all of the sudden the screen started to separate down at the left hinge and two little screws were dislodged and came out of the bottom.
The left hinge appears to be broken / defective, and the display case is separating. For now I'm just leaving the screen open all the time, but it's a little inconvenient and the problem is certainly concerning for a laptop less than 2 years old. I'm a Realtor so can't do without my primary tool for business. Please help!!

Hi @Seminole24,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing hinge issues with your HP Notebook.
This could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.
I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this web link.
Note: Select your country from the dropdown, enter the city or postal code, select the product, change the radius, and click on search to locate the nearest HP Service center near your location.
Hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

I have clicked the link to find a local HP Service Representnative.Poeroy IT Soultions popped up for Jacksonville. I clled every number I could find for them, but all the numbers are disconnected. The other service center is in Ocala. I live in one of the biggest metros in the US and I have to work with someone in Ocala to get a hinge fixed on my not even two year old laptop? Help me understand this. I am byond frustrated. There is not one number on your support page that I can call. It just keeps taking me back to the same page over and over again. We have got to do better.
