Hello
I just put an SSD drive in my wife's HP Envy M6 1158CA laptop. I also did a clean install of Windows 10. It runs much better now. Before it was always waiting for the hard drive to finish doing something. However, I now have a several driver errors in my Device Manager
PCI device
Device PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5289&SUBSYS_18A5103C&REV_01\4&22f70c9f&0&00E0 requires further installation.
PCI Simple Communications Controller
Device PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1E3A&SUBSYS_18A5103C&REV_04\3&11583659&0&B0 requires further installation.
Unknown Device
Device ACPI\HPQ0004\3&11583659&0 requires further installation.
Unknown Device
Device USB\VID_8087&PID_07DA\6&24daa714&0&3 requires further installation.
Unknown Device
USB\VID_138A&PID_0018\8527cb4d2778 requires further installation.
Unknown Device
Device ACPI\INT33A0\0 requires further installation.
I cannot find these drivers on either the HP websight or through the Windows Update
If anyone could point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Andrew

Hi, Andrew:
Your notebook is not supported by HP for W10, so you will have to use different (older) drivers for the devices that need drivers.
PCI device (Realtek SD card reader) This does have a W10 driver...
Download, unzip and run the setup application from the first file listed at the link below...
Card Reader Solutions > Card Reader Controllers Software - REALTEK
PCI Simple Communications Controller:
Intel Management Engine Components Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp65501-66000/sp65514.exe
Device ACPI\HPQ0004 (HP 3D Driveguard).
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp64001-64500/sp64144.exe
Device USB\VID_8087&PID_07DA: This is the Intel Bluetooth device that needs a driver.
I have zipped up and attached the driver file below and you will need to manually install the driver as follows...
Download and unzip the file to its folder. Do not do anything with the files in the folder.
Go to the device manager. Click on the Unknown USB\VID_8087&PID_07DA device needing the driver.
Click on the driver tab. Click on Update driver. Select the 'Browse my computer for drivers' option and browse to the driver folder you unzipped. Make sure that the Include subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
USB\VID_138A&PID_0018 (Fingerprint sensor):
Validity Fingerprint Sensor Driver: You may need to manually install the driver if the auto install method doesn't work.
You would use the same approach as above, but you would browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file, which is located in C:\SWSetup\sp58869.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp58501-59000/sp58869.exe
Device ACPI\INT33A0\0 (Intel smart connect).
Intel Smart Connect Technology Driver
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp65001-65500/sp65233.exe
