Hi!
The laptop won't turn on when hitting the physical power button on the case.
I can turn it on by-passing the physical power button and hitting the power button
that's on the power button board located on the inside of the laptop. Laptop boots up fine this way.
I couldn't find the physical power button part online for ordering purposes. I saw an Ebay auction for the upper
case/palmrest from China but it looks like the physical power button is not included with it.
I'm wondering what others have done in this situation?

Ok thanks!
I ended up purchasing a replacement used palmrest/upper case that comes with the
physical power button and keyboard. That was the only option available. Thanks for the
HP contact information. I'll make note of it. The repair is for a customer and thus the laptop
is not owned by me personally.
