HP Envy M7-u009dx SSD Upgrade Compatible?

So I'm considering upgrading the slow 5400 RPM HDD in my Envy to an SSD. I've heard about the more recent M.2 SSD drives available.

In the service manual: (http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05130939), it contains the following:

It looks as if both a HDD and SSD can be used in the system.  Can anyone confirm that I could put in a Samsung EVO 850 m2 into this? If so, where is the M.2 port?

Hi,

First, check if the connector is present in the laptop. If present, the Samsung 850 evo M2 is a good choice. You can follow the steps on page 24 of service manual to remove bottom cover.
