HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15t-ed100 CTO

Hello, my ~2 year old HP Envy gets light use at home for emailing, web browsing, etc. Yesterday when we closed the laptop, in the bottom left corner the screen cracked and has started to separate from the laptop. A small screw and a broken piece of black plastic fell out from the crack between the screen at the case. We cannot fully close or open the laptop without it being pretty obvious that it will make the crack/separation even worse. This laptop has never been dropped, been in a travel bag,  etc. It mostly sits in a cabinet at home and gets used single digit hours per week. This seems like it must be an HP quality problem, how do we get it fixed?
