In July 2020 I bought an HP Envy x360. I've never really had any problems with it, in fact I always recommended this laptop to anyone who is looking to buy one. But today when I went to close it I heard a crack & I noticed the left hinge looked slightly uncentered & broken. There is also a bulge under the touchscreen & little crack in the corner of the screen next to the hinge that was not there before. I cannot fold my laptop closed at all now. Looking online I've seen a lot of people have this issue with this HP laptop.

I'm know it's out of warranty by now but is it possible to get this fixed? I have always taken extremely good care of this laptop because I use it constantly for work; it has never been dropped, had anything spilt on it, or been mishandled to cause this type of damage. I hope this can be repaired because I spent $900 on this one & I can not afford to buy another right now as it is essential for my job.20230724_193045.jpg20230724_191929.jpg20230724_192025.jpg

This could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.

I suggest that you contact HP Service Center in your location from this weblink: https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/service-center
