HP Envy X360 compatible with Omen eGPU

HP Recommended
Envy X360
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi,

Just a quick question that im sure someone will know the answer to straight away.

Just got an X360 laptop, and i would like to play FS2020 on it, the mini,u, system requirements are all met apart from the GPU. HP do the Omen eGPU but i cannot find anywhere that says that it is compatible. I have the thunderbolt connection, but not sure if i need anything else.

Also, i have 8gb of RAM, but would potentially like to upgrade to 16, can anyone advise if thats possible?

Many thanks,

Hi,

You do not give the full model of your Envy so i can check if it has Thunderbolt port.

However since you are sure that it has this port, yes you can use an external eGPU with the notebook such as the Omen Accelerator or similar.

Hope it helps,

David
