Product: HP ENVY x360 13.3 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 13-bf0000 (552D5AV)

When I opened my HP Envy 360 laptop, the hinge broke and the screen popped out. I’ve always treated my laptop gently and have never dropped it. After looking through forums, it seems like this is a common design flaw in HP Envy laptops. Since this issue appears to be related to the design and not my handling, will HP repair it even though my laptop is out of warranty? I rely on this laptop for work and can't afford to repair or replace it.
