I have an HP Envy laptop M6-K125DX bought in 2014, latest Bios F.21 Revision A installed
I have had updated to Windows 10 Home a while ago when I replaced my spinning HD with a used 120GB SSD I had around. The SSD was working great for a year and started showing problems so I bought a new 120GB SSD
HP 120 GB SSD S600 2.5” Sata 6.0, SMART Supported
Fresh Install of Windows 10 Home with all drivers and updates and have no problems. The problem is when I boot up it comes to the black screen that says:
SMART Hard Disk Error The SMART HD check has detected an imminent failure.
To ensure not data loss, please backup the content immediately and run the Hard Drive test in System Diagnostics. Hard Disk 1 (301) F2 System Diagnostics ENTER – Continue Startup For more information please visit www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup
Now I have run HP HD test and my SSD shows no issues and PASSES OK.
I actually sent the HP SSD back and got another one with the same issues.
Have verified SSD is 100% operations using many different software.
Any suggestions to resolve this issue other than just leave it alone and hit the Continue Startup.
Thanks Iggy

Thank you for the information.
Install HP support assistant a few days ago.
No Updates available for my laptop.
Did install the latest HP Support Assistant and checked system as well as any updates.
It hooks up to the HP servers and checks.
No updates or messgaes available.
All Hardware and Software checks out good.
I'm getting to think the HP SSD I bought is not compatable with the HP Laptop for some reaosn.

So after reading the private message to contact HP I have found out that HP says the SSD is not comnpatable to the HP Laptop like it says in the documentation.
It seems HP doesn't make them backward compatable like all other branded SSD drives.
What a waste of time and money thinking HP knew what they were doing.
I guess the real answer is to buy a truely backward compatable M-SATA SSD that has a few extra penneys spent on making it compatable. WOW HP!
And the HP service wants money to figure out what is wrong with my laptop. (Nothing).
This question is not answered yet on why HP sells parts thats says it is compatbale Win10 laptop and it isn't..
