Hello, I'm looking into how much RAM my laptop can have and from searching the internet I can't seem to find anything.

Right now I have 8 GB RAM, and if possible I'd like to upgrde to more.

And if I were to upgrade, where is suggested I take it for someone to do it?

Thank you!

Hi

Find the link for the manuals below

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04498499 page 2 has the RAM info, if you are not sure how to do it take your Notebook to a store like geek sqwd where they will do it for you

Hope this helps.

Okay thank you! So from what I understand I can insert two 8GB RAM cards for a total of 16 GB RAM maximum?

HP Recommended

Yes that is correct.

Hope this helps.

Greetings,
I have an Envy 15t m6-p144dx. I have already upgraded to 16GB ram. Noticed the antiquated BCM943142 WLAN card and was wondering if I can do a simple card swap upgrade to the Intel DB AC3165 , for more throughput and 5Ghz support ??? {with associated drivers and software of course} and would you know which model# I would need - either 3165NGW or 3165D2WG ???
