HP ENVY Laptop PC 14-eb0000 (167S1AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello HP Community, i have a problem with my HP Envy 14 eb0376ng (i7 1165G7 and GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Q-Max).

When the computer is turned on and runs on battery, there is a grinding/buzzing sound coming from the right center of the laptop (roughly were the o/k/l keys are located), this sound completely disappears when i plug in the power supply. This happens wether there is a program running or not.
The volume of this sound is getting louder when i change window's energy management to the ''power'' setting and it is especially present when i scroll through .pdf files.

I also went to the retailer and swapped my device out for a new one (exact same model) and this problem is still happening. HP's tech support couldn't find any malfunctions when i sent it in last week and i can't find any solution on the internet.

I also noticed that the static sound is gone while running a system test, even when the device is not connected to the AC adapter.

No devices are plugged in.

In case any of you have an idea on how to fix this, i'd appreciate if you were to write it down for me 🙂

Greetings, Rico
