Hello HP, 

 

I have a HP Envy 13.3 that has just failed on me. I went to close it and it was a bit stiff on the right hand side and then suddenly the hinge seemed to come apart from the screen and the screen cracked. I was shocked when this happened as it has been very well looked after and has very rarely been used in tablet mode. It can no longer be used which is very annoying.

 

This is the third Hp notebook that I have owned and I have been very happy unitil this occurred. I know that it is out of warranty but as this is a known common problem can you please advise how this can be rectified for me.

I understand that this is a Hardware issue. However, the support here is limited to software troubleshooting. Since the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who can schedule a repair as per the warranty and the issue can be fixed.
