HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 13m-bd0023dx

Hi there.

I would love to upgrade my HP Envy x360 convertible 13m laptop to Windows 11.

However, I'm running into an issue with the TPM. When I go to the Windows Update screen, it says I don't meet the requirements to run Windows 11. PC Health Check says TPM 2.0 must be supported and enables on this PC. There's no "Security Processor" section on the Device security page of the Windows Security section of settings. So I went into the BIOS. TPM is available and set to "enabled". When my computer turned back on, I did Windows+R to get to run tpm.msc. On this page, it says "Compatible TPM cannot be found".

Any help in advancing past this step would be greatly appreciated!

Edit to Add: I also confirmed that my computer does have a TPM 2.0 from the Maintenance and Service Guide (which I got using the Wayback machine since all the HP links for this computer don't work)

After much trial and error, I was able to solve my own problem. Basically, what I think happened was that my computer itself knew that the TPM 2.0 was enabled, but WIndows was unable to recognize that the computer even had a TPM. After updating the BIOS, which I found on the hp website somewhere, the option to enable or disable TPM 2.0 was no longer in the BIOS. When I did the PC Health Check again, it said that I was compliant and able to upgrade. Now running WIndows 11!

It does not have hardware TPM but it has Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 - Firmware. Please try

Hi Banhien,

Unfortunately, I already tried all the steps listed on that "Enable TPM 2.0 on your PC" page. It seems to be enabled on the BIOS page, but Windows isn't registering it anywhere.
