I got the shock of my life today. I bought the Envy x360 on May 14, 2022 in the US and carried it home to Zimbabwe. I have been using it since mid-June 2022. On Thursday, November 17, 2022 I used it and all was fine. I took it out today and when I was opening it, there was a problem. The left hinge was not opening and the screen was coming apart from that side. Two screws fell off and they showed that they broke off the plastic on which they were embedded. I then casually checked the internet to see if anyone else had ever experienced such a problem, and Lo and Behold, there are at least 54 others that have experienced similar issues, mainly on the right hinge. This is terrible for HP to continue to be pushing a product with such a design flaw. Just for the record, this is the fifth HP laptop I am using since 2010. The other four performed well hence the shock at finding the Envy x360 disintegrating by itself! My laptop should still be under warranty even though the logistics of sending it back to the US might be daunting.
