Looks like finally it is my turn. Yesterday the left hinge of my laptop broke just by opening it. While looking for answers I found that this is a well-known issue. My warranty expired and I am at a loss here on what to do. If I look for support looks like it has to be under warranty and when it is not (my case) you have to subscribe to a plan or something like that. I am looking for someone at HP who can help me with this. I find it unacceptable to have to pay for a repair on something that broke out of nowhere. Is there a phone number I can call in Canada about this? Thanks.
