Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good Evening

 

I've recently purchased the HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15-cn1xxx

 

It came with 8gb ram and I would like to upgrade it to 16gb.

 

I have found "8GB DDR4 2666 MHZ NOTEBOOK MEMORY" and would like to know if this would work in this machine.

 

And lastly, will upgrading the ram cause my warranty to be void?

Not all DDR4 2666 RAM as the same, you need to know few more technical information such as CL, buffer, ECC ... but firstly what EXACTLY is your HP ENVY x360 Convertible 15-cn1xxx ?

Well, if NOTHING went wrong after the upgrade then no problem with warranty.
