HP Envy X360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I purchased recently a HP Envy x360. Since the first day, I had an issue with the startup, and I was obliged to reinstall Windows. After a few days of driver download and install, my machine was ready for use. I didn't notice it immediately, but the button

<> is acting as a CTRL button.
The button <> is located on the right og the AltGr button.
One more thing that is strange is that the product number that is displayed in the HP Utility is
3LD23EA#BH4
wheras on the bottom side of my machine I can read
3DL23EA#BH4
(the L and the D are reversed).
I don't know how to solve this issue. I have downloaded and installed all the drivers I found on the HP site.
Please help !

Finally, I found a solution using the tool sharpkeys. The following configuration did the trick for me (see the picture below).

But I believe this should have been done by either the Windows keyboard driver, or by the BIOS.

I don't know what whill be the result if I install Linux

Step 3 Re-install the Keyboard drivers -

Hello again,

Thanks for your help. I have tried your suggestions but I still have the same issue. I think it is a software issue, because when clicking on the button, the Diagnostics is detecting a click, but not the correct one.

Any other suggestion please ? I took a picture of my keyboard. May be you can suggest some specific driver for this layout.

I found a thread on the forum suggesting that I might need a BIOS update. Maybe the problem I have is related to the BIOS update I made. Is there any update less recent ? (might be a regression in the BIOS)

Thanks for trying. Have you tried the BIOS update mentioned in the first post?

Try updating the computer -

Click on this link to run Windows Updates troubleshooter.

Step 2 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Step 3 HP Support Assistant Updates -

1) In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Let me know.

Hello,

I have installed successfully the firmware version F42.

I have also run the Windows diagnostics and preformed an update of Windows.

Nothing changed so far...

The HP Support assistant is always showing a Bluetooth driver not up to date, although I've installed it many times
