ExHP Envy x360 convertible 15M-C

I bought this laptop 10 months ago - getting close to end of warranty,  It began getting hot/fan running continuously/shutting off - a few months ago. I took it back to store I bought it from. They ran diagnostics and sent off for repair.

When it came back, they sent a new power cord and said it was fine - no more overheating, etc.

All good for about 6 weeks. Now the problem has re-emerged. Back to store for service. They report continuous temps of about 147-150 degrees but say that is within normal limits.

Is that right??

Thanks in advance.

@aerrett,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Is the AC adapter overheating or the computer? If the computer is overheating and the temperature is 147 degree Celsius then it is not normal. The normal operating temperature of the computer on full load is around 90 to 95 degree Celsius.

If the computer is showing more than 95 degree Celsius and you should definitely get it checked.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
