Bit of an odd issue over the last couple of days.
The fan on the laptop is pulsing (thats the best description i could give it).
I have the fan set to always on in the BIOS, as otherwise it can get uncomfortably warm.
I checked what was running, CPU was less than 10%, nothing else running.
ran HWinfo,, CPU averaging 58 degrees C, GPU averaging 44 degrees C.
BIOS is up to date, nothing else needs to be updated.
just....irritating....

clearly spoke to soon - its happening again.
rebooted laptop to BIOS, its still doing it, which makes me think its not Windows related.
i'm on the latest BIOS
Ran the diagnostics in the BIOS, nothing came back as a problem.
Monitored the fans via the test suite, and i could see CPU Fan 1 constantly ramping between 60% and 98%.
ran HWinfo, and as far as i can tell the CPU is not overheating - average stats after 5 minutes were
Core - 49.2
SOC - 46.5
CPU Skin temp - 46.3
Tctl/Tdie - 58.3
Anyone got any ideas, or am i looking at an RTB for repair?
