HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-ey0000 (54J84AV)

I bought my x360 laptop in 2023 and spent extra money to buy a more premium laptop. The right hinge has just broken and the screen is now being bent due to this. My warranty has expired this year (2025) by only a few months. The laptop has never been dropped and is used sparingly (as a teacher I often use the school devices instead of my own).  Considering this is clearly a design fault as mentioned in many other places on this community I would appreciate someone to contact me privately regarding this.

It seems hardly fair that all of the these people who are writing messages regarding this issue have not been compensated in some way. Whether this is a discount to purchase a new laptop, free repairs, or extended warranty due to the known design fault. I have been a loyal user of HP for around a decade and I am very disappointed.
