Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My orig. HDD took a dirt nap so i would like to replace it with a 1TB SSD, i want to use it as storage and install a M2 SSD and place the OS on it. Will this work? Below are my current items I was looking to use.

1T SSD: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078DPCY3T/ref=ox_sc_act_title_6?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

M2 : https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-250GB-SATA-Internal-MZ-N6E250BW/dp/B07864V6CK/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&key...

I have a HP Envy x360 m6-aq103dx, running Win 10 Pro. Thx

Hi:

You really want to soup that machine up.

Yes, those will work, but understand that the M.2 SATA SSD is not going to be any faster than the 2.5" SATA SSD, if that is your goal.

The advantage would be that if one of the two drives conks out, the other one will still be good.

Thanks for your response Paul, the object wasn't to Soup it up, per say,  i just wanted to place the OS on another drive. I wasn't sure if the MOBO would recognize 2 drives on this model.
