I purchased, directly from HP, an extended warranty on October 07, 2020.  I believe part of the sales pitch was that if the plan was not used, a portion of the amount paid, or all of it, would be returned. If I am correct, I want to claim that. I've spent over an hour trying to find the details of what HP sold me. I have a copy of the HP email with the purchase order number, the item purchased, amount paid, etc. But nothing on what was covered nor the term. I cannot find anything at my HP online account, except for my personal info.

I understand you are facing an issue with the Carepack refund. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue. 

 

If no service event occurs after the purchase date of the Care Pack, you are allowed to claim a rebate for the price of your Care Pack. Please refer to your Risk-Free rebate form at the time of purchase as the program dates and conditions may have changed.
