Product: HP EliteBook 1040 G3 Notebook PC

Good night everybody!
There is an HP Folio 1040 G3 laptop, which, apparently, has a dead motherboard - at startup, a black screen, a cooler buzzes and there is a flashing Caps Lock LED.
Recently, it became possible to purchase a motherboard from the same HP Folio 1040 at an adequate price, although revisions G1 or G2 ...
I really ask for help, from those who know if motherboards of different revisions are interchangeable in this laptop model.
