Product: HP G42-415DX
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. I am looking to upgrade the RAM from my HP G42-415DX. Currently it has 3GB. I would like to max it out to 8GB. Would this product fit.

If not, does anyone have a suggestion in which product will fit at a reasanable price.

Hi:

 

Looking at the specs for your notebook and the memory specs from the Amazon link, that memory should work just fine.

 

The memory I would have recommended is $100 for some reason.  It used to be real cheap.
