Hi there,

 

I have HP G42-456TU notebook PC with default 3 GB RAM. Can I upgrade it to 6 GB (4 + 2) ? I want to remove 1 GB RAM and add 4 GB as a replacement of it. And can suggest RAM manufacturer / model for it will great help.

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

 

It supports up to 2 x 4 GB of memory.

 

The only memory I know of that will work in your model would be these...if you can't get them in India, then you won't be able to upgrade it.
