Hello, I have a g6 Notebook I would like to know if I can upgrade it to an SSD as the manual doesn't mention any SSD compatibility.
I have preinstalled Toshiba MK6476GSK.

Hi:

The Crucial memory/SSD website indicates that a 2.5" SSD is supported.

They didn't list the g6-1256ee but they have the g6-1256ei listed and that should be basically the same model.

One last question is the Gold s31 SSD from Sk Hynix compatible?

Hi:

The Hynix Gold S31 2.5" SATA drive should work fine.

Amazon.com: SK hynix Gold S31 1TB SATA Gen3 2.5 inch Internal SSD | SSD 1TB | Up to 560MB/S | Solid ...

If that is too expensive in your country, I would go with the Crucial MX500 they sell on the link I posted.

The drive that has the best performance for the price in my opinion is this one...

Hello, sorry I ask a lot.
Samsung 860/870 Evo 2.5inch SSD?
or a Samsung 870 QVO?
which will live longer?

HP Recommended

The 870 has a little better read/write specification than the 860.

You can compare the TBW specs. Basically, either drive will last for many years.

TBW=Total Bytes Written.
