HP G62-B95EV- Motherboard Replacement

Hello i have the  G62-B95EV and my motherboard is faulty. I want to replace it. The original motherboard part number is 615382-001 but I cannot find it. I have found an other one with part number 615381-001. It is identical concerning the outward appearance but I want to know if there is a significant difference between the 2 motherboards. I don't care if the difference is weaker GPU, just to fit it in my motherboard.

Hi Panagiotis,

Both the motherboards are compatible. The difference is that the 615382-001 board has less dedicated video RAM (512MB) whereas the old board has 1GB

I found this one instead: 615849-001. Will it fit in my laptop?

I do not believe it will work as it is for the G72 series of notebooks.
