Common problems for Battery

Hello,

OK. Here's the problem.

My external DVD drive had 5 available changes of region (I live in the UK but I watch a lot of USA movies, etc) and now it turns out that I've used up all 5 changes. Now it tells me "This DVD player is fixed to region 2. You can only play discs from this region".

Is it possible to reset the regional changes on my DVD drive or am I stuck with a DVD drive that will be unable to play a DVD which isn't region 2?

Thank you.

@Chripper

That is a very funny thing: we can buy a 79 dollars player to play all DVD's around the world but we can only change 5 times on a 600 dollars player.

I know many hacks around, normally HP won't allow us to put "hack" link. Please use Google and search for DVD zone hack, you should be able to find one.

Regards.

I know!

And people wonder why physical media has been replaced with its virtual counterpart.

Thanks for that, alas, I haven't been able to find anything that works on my specific drive.

Could you message me a link to a hack as I'm having zero luck.

Anywho.

Turns out that the previous person was all talk. I messaged him... either he's dead or he can't hack it.

I think it's impossible to hack an external DVD player anyway.
