Hi,
Your PC supports max 32GB of DDR4 2666Mhz RAM (2x16GB)
You can buy from your preferred brand such as Crucial, Corsair, Samsung...
On page 43 of service manual you can see the steps to upgrade RAM:

Yes, the HP drive will work. One of the best prize/performance SSDs is the M2 Samsung 970 Evo.
Hope it helps,
David

Please use the following compatible M.2 SSD's which are NVM2 SSD's.

Crucial may have smaller (capacity) M.2 SSD's. Please check with them .

Thank you very much.
EDIT:
One last question. The SSD's that have been suggested so far have all been M key type.
Does that mean I can't put in a B+M Key type M.2 SSD?
It's confusing because that M.2 slot is also a Optane slot. Most Optane drives are B+M key type.

I'm just curious and was looking for a follow up to your installation.
What drive did you go with and did you ever perform a benchmark to test it with?

Hi, I have the same laptop, and currently I have a Samsung 970 evo plus 500gb ssd disk (M.2 pci-e) + a 2TB Toshiba HDD, and everything is great, Ram memory I have 16GB, and I just read here that supports up to 32GB, the strange thing is that in the manual says up to 16GB, I don't know if it can prove that the person who said that supports up to 32GB of ram with tests.

Hi @DanoSC ,
The service manual mentions the max RAM certain models in that series can be bought with (16GB).
However HP DDR4 systems with 7th. 8th or later gen Core CPU support 32GB of RAM.
Example:

Hope it helps,
