HP Laptop 14-cf0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I've searched on the HP support website and it seems such a hard task to find what the max RAM my laptop can have. I simply want to know what this the max RAM capacity my HP Laptop 14-cf0xxx can receive. Is this information available somewhere? Even the manual doesn't talk about it.

Thank you

You're very welcome.

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06146792

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

2 x 8 GB is supported.

The 'Memory is non-customer accessible/non-upgradeable' statement means that HP wants you to get the work done by an authorized service center.

If you look at the memory removal and replacement procedure found in the above manual, and you feel you can do the job yourself without breaking anything in the process, feel free to do so.

Thank you for the prompt reply. This manual is interesting, and yes upgrading the RAM doesn't look difficult.

Have a nice day!
