HP Laptop 14-fq0033dx
Microsoft Windows 11

I have HP Laptop 14-fq0033dx and I want to upgrade its storage since it only has 128GB. Would 1TB storage be compatible with my laptop? The SSD that I am going to buy is Kingston NV2 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2.

Hi:

Yes, the 14-fq0xxx notebooks with the Ryzen processors can support a NVMe SSD.

However, since the M.2 SSD slot is only PCIe Gen 3.0, you will not benefit from the faster advertised read/write speeds the PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD has.  The max possible read/write speed you will be able to get from the slot is 3,500 MBPS.
