Hi:

 

One of the reviewers at the link below indicated the entire bottom cover is plastic.

 

Amazon.ca Laptops: HP 15.6" FHD, Ryzen 5-5500, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Silver, Windows 10 Home, 15-EF212...

 

If you look at the disassembly video at the link below, you can see that the bottom cover is plastic.

I would imagine the top is also silver colored plastic.
