My laptop cannot read the HP USB-C Dock G5-8 in 1 Adapter for Both USB-C and Thunderbolt-Enabled Laptops.  Only connected to the network but do not display the monitors or charges.

@Gin05

From the manual (document pdf_7525191_en-US-1) your machine does NOT have Thunderbolt port NOR USB-C port which support Alt mode and/or USB Power delivery therefore it is NOT compatible with the HP USB-C G5 dock.

Regards.

Dear Support Team,

I understand that my laptop does not have Thunderbolt or USB-C ports with Alt Mode or Power Delivery, and as such, it is not compatible with the HP USB-C G5 dock. Could you recommend alternative solutions for connecting multiple external monitors to my laptop? Specifically, I am looking for docking stations or adapters that are compatible with USB-A or other ports available on my laptop.

Additionally, could you provide any guidance on potential performance limitations and best practices for setting up a multi-monitor configuration given my laptop’s current ports?

Thank you for your assistance.
