HP Laptop - 15s-eq10120tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Laptop - 15s-eq10120tu with 512GB SSD and I am looking at upgrading the storage to 1TB or 2TB.  I found it impossible to find upgrade information from HP provided manuals or from the internet - the HP product manual does not state the max. capacity supported nor about whether it supports PCIe NVMe Gen 4. Would anyone know whether a Gen 4 2TB SSD would be supported please? Thanks.

Hi,

There is no limit to the capacity of the M2 PCIe NVMe SSD. So you can install from your preferred brand and capacity. Something like the Samsung 860 would be great.

The ones mentioned in the service manual are the ones certain models in that series could have come with.

It will support Gen4 as they are backward compatible with Gen3

Hope it helps,
