HP Laptop 15s-eq1xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi guys,

Good day.

I just want to ask if anyone is familiar with HP Laptop 15s-eq1xxx?

I currently have an 8GB Ram and planning to upgrade it to 16GB, I am just not sure if there is another slot for the second module in this laptop.

I appreciate your help with my enquiry.

Thanks in advance.

@BroJitsu

What is your HP Laptop 15s-eq1xxx  ? For example

         HP Laptop 15s-eq1116AU

The above machine already has 16GB and it has AMD Ryzen™ 7 4700U (2.0 GHz base clock, up to 4.1 GHz max boost clock, 8 MB L3 cache, 8 cores) CPU. We need to know what is yours because your machine may support different configuration

Regards.

Hi @Banhien,

Thank you for responding to my post.

I bought the HP 15s-eq1117AU variant last week. It comes with Ryzen 5 4500U 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD.

I don't want to open it yet just to check the RAM slots so I opted to ask someone here.

Thanks in advance.

The model have two slots. The 8 GB was soldered to the mother board. You can check the slots by going to Task Manager click Performance Tab then click Memory. At the lower right portion you will see how many slots are available in your laptop.
