HP Laptop 15t-dw300 compatible docking station. I ordered HP USB-C Dock G5 but I get Input Signal Not Found. When I plug HDMI directly from laptop to HP 24fw with Audio 24-inch Display, I can see my laptop screen displayed on the monitor.

One more thing.... when laptop lid is open, the monitor displays what is on my laptop screen. But when I close the lid, everything goes black and get Input Signal Not Found.

I set my laptop lid setting to Do Nothing when closed. I have tried three separate docking stations and none have worked. As soon as I close the lid, I get Input Signal Not Found and monitor goes black. I have tried both the USB-A and USB-C ports to connect. THis is the monitor I have: HP 24fw with Audio 24-inch Display
Here are the docking stations I have tried:
1 - HP USB-C Dock G5... returning today
2- Amazon Basics USB 3.0 Universal Laptop Due Monitor Docking Station - returning today
3 - Plugable UD-6950H USB 3.0 Dual 4K Display Horizontal Docking Station w/ DisplayPort and HDMI.- Troubleshooting now.
Any other suggestions or power options I am missing on laptop?
Thank you
