What is the maximum SSD that the HP Laptop -15t-fd000, 15.6" can take?

That model can only use an NVME M.2 SSD for storage. The Service Manual says it was sold from the factory with up to a 1 TB SSD. However, that does not define the capacity. It can accept any sized NVME M.2 SSD you can find on sale. 4 TBs are not commonly found, but do exist. 2 TBs are common. 1, 2 or 4 TBs will all work.

It appears some low end versions of this model series use something called Universal Flash Storage. So to be 100% sure on the answer I would need to know the exact model number, but if you have an Intel Core processor my statement above is correct.
