Product: HP 17 Laptop PC 17-cp3000 (799U8AV)
Hello, Just purchased a new HP Laptop 17-cp3058nr this weekend. I works just fine. I noticed when I close the lid and use a larger monitor, I hear a clicking noise, when I open the lid it goes away. I have run all of the diagnostics and they all have passed. Anyone having the same issue? or is this just a red herring? Thanks!

You shouldn't be hearing any clicking noise.
There isn't a legacy electromechanical hard disk or an optical disk in your laptop.
This is likely to be an either suffer through the clicking noise or return it for a replacement, if that is possible.
