HP Notebook 14-dq1035cl

My laptop suddenly exploded and caught fire while it was charging causing it to scorch the table it was on, the nearby chair, it melted the carpet underneath the table, and sprayed black ash all the way to the wall behind it. I lost school materials that were downloaded to the computer along with personal files. Because I'm currently a student, I also had to rush to purchase a new computer in order to finish the semester.

I'm hoping to get some support from HP in terms of seeking compensation for damages. It didn't seem as though this battery was on the list of recalls, but it was obviously no longer safe. If I had been sitting at my computer just one minute longer, I would have been burnt as well.IMG_2056.jpgIMG_2057.jpg
