Hi,
For about 2-3 months, my laptop's bottom cover has been bulging leaving a sizeable gap. At first there seemed to be no noticeable issues in performance, but recently my laptop has alerted me that my battery life is very poor. The alert has appeared similarly during a time where my laptop charger occasionally would not work. Upon looking for solutions, I ran the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics test for my battery life where the test reports that the battery is very weak . I am now worried that potentially my battery is resulting in the observed bulging (noting similar cases online), but am unable to confirm since I don't have the relevant tools to open bottom cover. I haven't had this laptop for terribly long (~2 years) and am surprised that such an issue has arose this quickly. This makes me believe that this is potentially a faulty battery design or defect. Laptop model is HP ENVY - 13-ad027tx. Assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks
