You have the latest processor Intel i7-8550U (very nice). Your laptop came with a single 8 gig DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM module and you can add another.
Look at pages 43-51 of the Manual posted in the answer above.
You need a module like this one:

I found the hardware maintenance and service guide for your model, here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493257
It appears there are a number of things that can be upgraded, but not by the end user. You will need to take it to have an authorized service provider perform the actual upgrade. Hope this answers your question.
