My laptop exploded all of a sudden, I was not even using it. It went up in smokes and I think it was the battery that exploded. My whole house was filled with smoke (it still smells), luckily I was nearby so I was able to alert everyone. But if I was using it, I would have definitely been injured. Since I threw it on the floor when I noticed the smokes, my carpet ended up burnt.
My laptop is not on the recall list so I did not expect this to happen. All my data is lost which was very important for my work.
I was wondering who I could contact about this issue, since I think people should be aware of the hazard.
Thank You!
