Hi, My laptop crashed and had to install windows from scratch, after I installed all the drivers, the laptop takes long to boot. I installed the intel optane memory and still loads slowly.
I don’t have a recovery a disk or usb.
Is there a recovery image that will bring the laptop to it’s original form?
Thank you
Mario

You're very welcome, Mario.
The recovery media you make with the Cloud recovery tool is supposed to factory reset your notebook.
In other words, it will reinstall the original W10 operating system, the original drivers, and the original software that came with your notebook when you first bought it.

Hi, Mario:
Your PC is supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your PC.
Here is an info link for how to use that utility. You will also need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

If your notebook came with Intel Optane memory, review the last two sections at the link below for how to setup your Intel Optane memory, or confirm that the Recovery media set it up correctly.

Hi Paul
I have already installed windows, drivers and I have made a recovery USB drive.
If I use the recently created USB recovery drive to recover my laptop, would the USB recovery drive use the original drivers and applications that came with my laptop or would it use the drivers that I installed manually?
Thank You
Mario
