Hello, i am thinking of upgrading my SSD on my HP Laptop Model 14s-dq0505sa and as i have heard, the primary SSD is directly soldered onto the motherboard. I am unsure if there is an extra slot for a second SSD for the Laptop, could anyone help me with this?
Thanks

Hi @butelo
This model should have an M.2 slot. If it does, it only accepts M.2 SATA drives; you cannot use NVMe. It then remains as a secondary storage unit and cannot be used as the main drive.

You cannot install Windows; only the eMMC disk can be recognized as disk C, but I recommend checking if you have the slot—not all models have it.
