Greetings @L00se_-1

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that your computer is not booting to the desktop and comes with Windows update on every restart, is that right?

Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you.

Have you run a diagnostics on your computer?

May I know the exact product number of your computer? Click here. Please do not share the serial number of your computer.

Please disconnect any devices connected to your computer.

If you have any USB or DVD in the computer, please disconnect it.

Perform a power reset on the computer. Click here for assistance.

Disconnect the adapter, remove the battery (if it can be removed)

Hold down the power button for 30 seconds to drain the static in the computer.

Connect the adapter and battery to the computer.

Turn the computer ON and keep tapping F2 or ESC repeatedly on startup.

This should get you to a Startup Menu and from there you can select System Diagnostics. Click here

Please select system diagnostics and run a system test.

If the test fails, please contact our phone support team for the service options.

If the test passes. Please exit system diagnostics.

Go back to the Startup menu (tapping ESC on startup) and select recovery manager.

In recovery manager, please select troubleshoot and then select advanced options.

In advanced options, please select automatic repair.

If the issue persists, try a system restore. Click here

This should resolve the issue you are facing.

Keep me posted.
