Have you tried a different USB Type-C power adapter?
If the pen is still within the one year warranty, contact warranty services from your product's support portal page
Unfortunately, if that is not the case than it will need to be replacement out of pocket.
I have had the same pen for five years and have am fortunate to have not had that issue.

Thank you for the reply. Interestingly, I had already replaced the pen that came with the PC, and actually have three HP MPP 2.0 pens. They all stopped working about the same time. There is no damage or anything, they just simply....stopped working. This seems to be a fairly common problem with these pens; is there a way to fix them? I'm not sure what is causing them to fail, and I am hesitant about purchasing another pen because I fear the same will happen. Is there a way to maybe replace the battery in the pens or something along those lines? I have tried all kinds of adapters and cables to charge the pens.

Interesting.
I have owned three HP active pens, that were delivered with HP laptops and have never had one fail.
This is not something that is common.
It it were a common issue there would be many posts, making it a trend, and it is not.
The lithium ion battery in the pens with the USB Type-C connection is not a replaceable unit.
